Dr. Rene Boothby received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, masters degree from the University of Minnesota, and completed his internship at the University of Minnesota – Department of General Surgery and his residency from the University of Minnesota – Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He received a fellowship from Stanford University – Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Boothby is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and Hillsborough County Medical Association.
