William Azkoul, M.D. earned his B.S. in neuroscience with a minor in music at the University of Michigan. He completed medical school at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He continued his training in otolaryngology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Azkoul provides medical and surgical care of general ear, nose and throat problems for both pediatric and adult patients. His special areas of interest include:
- Pediatric sleep disorders/snoring, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy
- Pediatric sore throat and recurrent tonsillitis
- Recurrent ear infections and ear tubes
- Tongue and lip tie
- Allergy testing and desensitization shots
- Nasal obstruction and surgery to improve nasal breathing
- Chronic sinusitis and endoscopic sinus surgery
- Eustachian tube dysfunction
- Voice and swallowing problems
- Hearing loss, tinnitus and balance problems
- Hearing amplification devices (hearing aids)

Off duty, Dr. Azkoul enjoys spending time with family and friends, spending time outdoors, playing tennis, cooking, and watching football, hockey and Formula 1.
