Dr. Robert Gerring is a Board Certified Ear, Nose and Throat specialist.   He is originally from Western New York State and completed undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then attended the University of Miami for graduate medical training where he received numerous honors, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society.

While in residency Dr. Gerring received extensive training in all aspects of Otolaryngology.  He learned advanced techniques in the endoscopic management of sinonasal disorders, as well as the medical and surgical treatment of head and neck diseases from renowned faculty.  In addition, he conducted clinical and basic science research, produced publications in peer-reviewed journals, and presented his work at multiple national scientific meetings.  While in residency Dr. Gerring received awards for skull base dissection and for research regarding the microbiology of middle ear infections. As clinical chief resident he received the award for highest score on the Otolaryngology training exam.

Before joining ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida he worked at Ear, Nose, Throat and Facial Plastic Associates of Montgomery County.
