Dr. Daniel Daube founded Gulf Coast Facial Plastics and Ear/Nose/Throat Center more than two decades ago. Dr. Daube was born in Compton, California, and attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Later, Dr. Daube graduated from that university’s School of Medicine in the Top 10% of his class. In 1994, he received his Board Certification in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery from the University of New Mexico Hospital. He was Fellowship Trained and Board Certified in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery from Louisiana State University. Dr. Daube is the region’s only double Board Certified and Fellowship-trained Facial Plastic Surgeon/Otolaryngologist in Northwest Florida.
Dr. Daube was part of the Clinical Faculty of Tulane University Medical Center, and has written and published extensively on Nasal Reconstruction topics. He is regularly invited to speak at medical groups all over the United States and Europe. Dr. Daube is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). Dr. Daube founded an outpatient surgical center that is accredited by the American Association of Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). For 13 years, Dr. Daube has served on this association’s Inspector Committee.
Dr. Daube is a member of the Emerald Coast Medical Association, American Medical Association (AMA) as well as the Florida Medical Association (FMA), and is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
Dr. Daube was presented with the Sir Harold Delf Gillies Award by the Educational & Research Foundation of the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Foundation, an award given internationally for best research in facial plastics each year. In addition, he was included in Becker’s ASC Review’s “150 Physician Leaders” in the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
