Dr. Formichetti earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in 2003, where she graduated Cum Laude. She completed her undergraduate coursework at Florida International University in 1996 where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Biology.
Dr. Formichetti is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
She has been practicing audiology since 2002 and has experience in a variety of clinical settings, such as university setting, various ENT practices, hospitals, private pediatric practice, and the Salvation Army.
As a Doctoral student, Dr. Formichetti served on the Board for the National Association of Future Doctors of Audiology. She was also recognized with the National Officer Leadership Scholarship in 2000.
She completed her fourth year Doctoral Clinical Externship with ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, where she currently practices.
Dr. Formichetti is a Clinical Supervisor for numerous universities for both third and fourth year students in the Doctor of Audiology Program.
She has participated in various clinical trials as a clinical audiologist with ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida.
Dr. Formichetti has traveled to Georgetown, Guyana on a mission trip in 2016 with the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
