Dr. Aliana Romero earned her Doctorate of Audiology at Nova Southeastern University in 2020. In 2015, she graduated from Georgia College & State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.
Dr. Romero completed her fourth-year clinical externship at the University of Miami’s Mailman Center for Child Development. At Mailman, she gained pediatric diagnostic and amplification experience and completed leadership education in neurodevelopmental disabilities (LEND) training. After externship, Dr. Romero remained at the University of Miami and the Mailman Center. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities as the Emerging Leader representative and was recognized by ASHA as a Distinguished Early Career Professional in 2023.

- Selection and Programming of Amplification
- Counseling
Outside of work, Dr. Romero enjoys boating, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and friends.
